Here is the steps for to move WSS_content Database from one server is other server.

it is dam easy if you want to shift WSS_Contene DB from one server to other server, if you have a PWA is integrate wish MOSS at thsi time you have to take care about all the websites which are Created under PWA.

i am trying to giving you a solution about this , hope it will be helpful to you,

for the precaution first of all we will take backup of all the database and Farm,

before to take backup we will try to saw all the websites under the farm,

stsadm.exe -o enumsubwebs -url http://servername/pwa

1. Take full farm backup from the central admin.
2. Take project server databases backup from SQL i.e. Published,
Draft Archive and Reporting
3. Take stsadm export of the project workspaces.
4. Delete PWA from SSP -> Project Web Access.
5. Now, take backup of the WSS_Content database.
6. Restore the project server databases backed up from SOURCE
7. Restore the WSS_Content databases backed up from SOURCE
8. Run following command:
stsadm -o preparetomove -contentdb DATABASESERVERNAME:
WSS_Content -site http://servername
9. Detach the existing WSS_Content database from the web app
using central admin UI.
10. Attach the restored content database to the web app using
following command:
stsadm -o addcontentdb -url http://servername
-databasename WSS_Content -databaseserver
11. Provision the PWA site pointing to the databases restored from
the SSP -> Project Web Access.
12. From the exported workspaces, import them one by one using
following command:
stsadm -o import -url e.g. http://servername:portnumber
Name> -filename .cab

note :- at the time of deteching DB and cleaning all the existing websites please make sure about HDD space 🙂

stsadm.exe -0 perfoermtomove(before to detach DB)
